The Randleman Area Chamber of Commerce is a private organization of business professionals who are dedicated to improving the economic and civic environment of the Randleman area while fostering the growth and prosperity of business.
This organization was formed on January 9, 1948, when local businessmen formed the Randleman Chamber of Commerce. In the late 80's the Randleman Business Council was formed by local businessmen and later picked up the charter for the Randleman Chamber of Commerce in the early 90's after it had been dormant for several years. In the 90's the chamber purchased the first telephone office built in Randleman in 1930 by North State Telephone and housed the first chamber offices and board room. They also hired their first Executive Director David Caughron who served for nearly 20 years before leaving to take another job in Asheboro, NC.
