  • What is Victory Junction?

    The mission of Victory Junction located in Randleman, North Carolina, is to enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, in a safe and medically-sound environment. The program offers a week of exhilarating, challenging and nurturing fun under comprehensive, but unobtrusive, 24-hour medical supervision. Activities include arts and crafts, woodshop, an adventure course, archery, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, music and theater, and a special NASCAR-themed program area complete with race cars, racing simulators, and racing gear. Each summer session offers up to 128 camper spots, and our fall and spring family weekends offer up to 32 families a chance to experience camp together.

    Who are the campers at Victory Junction?

    The camp accepts children 6-16 years of age, who have chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses. Victory Junction serves children with a variety of conditions including: Bleeding Disorders, Burn Survivors, Cancer, Craniofacial Anomalies, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Genetic Disorders, Heart Disease, Immunologic Disorders, Kidney Disease, Lung Disease, Neurologic Disorders, Physical Disabilities, Rheumatologic Disorders, Sickle Cell Disease, Skin Diseases, Spina Bifida, Transplant Recipients and many more. Many children are still receiving active treatment while at camp, while others may be in remission or on maintenance medications. Victory Junction primarily serves children from N.C., S.C. and VA. However since opening in 2004, campers from all 50 states and four countries have attended.

  • Racin' to Randleman Car Show at the NASCAR Day Festival helps three non profit organizations - so enter to help!

    As the home of NASCAR legend Richard Petty, we celebrate the "King" of NASCAR each year at the annual NASCAR Day Festival. For over 30 years we have welcomed guest from all over the country with 3 stages of entertainment, arts, crafts, food, attractions and of course cars! The advent of the "Racin;' to Randleman Car Show" in 2019 will continue to grow each year as we celebrate these wonderful classics, modified, hotrods, trucks, motorcycles and more in Randleman. In honor of Richard Petty the entry fee is $43.00. A portion of the car show proceeds will benefit the Petty Tribute Project and the Rady Lady Foundation which deals with breast cancer awareness and the chamber. Applications can be gotten by emailing the chamber at      chamber43@northstate.net . Pre registration is highly encouraged however entrants can avoid long lines and paper work the day of by pre registering. A on line registration form should be available soon.

    The 34th NASCAR Day Festival - Racin' to Randleman Car Show accepts all years, makes and models of cars, trucks & motorcycles. Several trophies, including some very unique for specific classes and the winners in each category (5) will have a "royal" prize - surprise. The gate opens at 7:00am with cars being in place by 8:30am the festival begins at 9:00am and runs til 6:00pm with awards being announced late afternoon in Commerce Square on the bandstand.
