Ramblin Randleman

Ramblin Randleman will be held every third Saturday in May, July and September in Commerce Square Downtown Randleman from 2:30 to 6:30. Host of this year’s event is Stevie B’s Garage. The customization specialist plans on bringing live music and charitable causes each and every event. So cruise on out – it’s gonna be a HOT time ! The event will also be held on Saturday during the North Carolina Food Truck State Championship on June 18. Fresh produce, plants and more at the Timken Farmers Market at Commerce Square starting every third  Friday evening at 5:00pm enhanced by a few food trucks and live bands 7  until 10:00pm. So celebrate Fridays in Downtown Randleman ! Great bands like The Ember’s on April 15, TBA May 20, Sleeping Booty June 17, The Tams July 15 and the Legacy Motown Review on Saturday August 20 and others make for an exciting summer in Randleman. A non perishable food drive will run each week as well.  July 5th the Randleman Parks and Rec Department will provide July Fireworks and the Band Redline in Downtown in addition to their usual fun forth activities at the Park.  The last Market & Music in August will move to Saturday due to Randleman High Schools  ballgames. NASCAR Day Festival Saturday October 22, 2016 9am to 6 pm


Thousands will converge on Randleman, NC for the 28th Annual NASCAR Day Festival on Saturday October 22, 2016 from 9am to 6 pm in downtown. The festival pays homage to its racing heritage with the First Family of NASCAR – The Petty’s. Main Street and the new Commerce Square will be filled with anything you could desire from delicious food including BBQ, handmade crafts, home products, racing memorabilia, cars, kids rides, simulators and three stages of entertainment. New this year is a wide screen simulator to feed your competitive edge. See who is top dog for the day and earn bragging rights. Autograph sessions will vary with most being in the afternoon. NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty will sign from 4 to 6 pm. The main stage in Commerce Square will feature live bands featuring the Chip Perry Band from 10 – 12 and The Entertainers Band from 1 to 3:30 and The Invaders from 4:15 to 6pm. Live music on the Randco Stage along with a variety of cloggers, dancers and the Little Ms & Mr NASCAR Day Pageant. The annual collectable postal cancellation will be featured with the theme ” Pedal to the Metal’ “. NEW this year will be a mobile app featuring a map and information on the festival. The NASCAR Day Festival is one of a select few festivals in North Carolina to use this technology. It can be accessed by texting code “nascar” to 313131 .  The festival also welcomes the Richard Petty Fan Club who will be meeting at the new Petty Museum exit 86 in Randleman in the Level Cross Community. Randleman is minutes from anywhere in the Piedmont Triad located off HWY 220 / I 73 South of Greensboro exit 81 & 82 “in the center of it all”.
