• 2020 NASCAR DAY FESTIVAL / Racin to Randleman Car Show

    CANCELLED for October 3, 2020

The NASCAR Day Festival committee recently met and after much discussion about COVID-19 and the governors decision to leave us at a level 2, decided to cancel this years event which was to be held on October 3, 2020. A fund raiser for the Randleman Chamber of Commerce for over 30 years the chamber's first priority is the citizens, vendors and attendees. Jeff Freeman, Executive Director states, "It was a tough decision but after weighing the options, the board felt it was in the best interest of the community and vendors to cancel this years event. It's a decision no one wants to make but I think it was the right decision for this year." The decision was made after considering a majority of the festivals and events in North Carolina have been cancelled since the outbreak in March thru the end of the year, discussions with area officials and the governors executive order to remain at a level 2 thru September 11 and possibly beyond and the level of COVID 19 in our area.

The NASCAR Day Festival is celebrating 32 years of racing heritage, arts, crafts, food, cars and entertainment and is held in downtown Randleman, NC home of the first family of racing the Petty's. The festival/car show will be held in 2021 with the October date being announced in January 2021.  VENDOR ANNOUNCEMENT : Although those who have already paid, as stated on the applications there are NO refunds but the board has decided to apply those to next years festival, so therefore you will not need to do anything for next years event unless you have a change of address, phone number or email. I hope you appreciate the boards decision to look out for our vendors whom we love!  It's the right thing to do.
